Over 9.5 Million Covid-19 Recoveries Confirmed Across Continent
As of March 24, 2022, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 11,351,459 while over 268,074,030 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.
Reported deaths in Africa reached 251,408 and 9,505,224 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases of 3,707,089 and 99,899 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco ( 1,162,686 ) , Tunisia ( 1,033,731 ), Libya ( 501,296 ), Egypt ( 500,889 ), Ethiopia ( 469,523 ), and Kenya ( 323,319 ).
