Nigerian schoolboys charged with molesting pupil

A juvenile court in Nigeria’s southern city of Uyo has commenced the trial of two boys who are accused of allegedly molesting an 11-year-old pupil.
The two students – both 13 years old – were charged with committing acts of gross indecency and unlawfully and indecently assaulting a minor.
They were charged on Wednesday alongside five others, including teachers and the school principal, who has been suspended.
They all denied the charges.
The court proceedings were held behind closed doors.
