SAPS officials in Cape Town Rescues a Dangling Man

A group of SAPS officials in Cape Town are being hailed as heroes on Tuesday, after their intervention saved a man from falling to his death above the N2. The bridge, leading to the R300 off-ramp, was temporarily closed off to traffic.

SAPS OFFICERS PERFORM A DARING RESCUE ON N2

The harrowing scenes were caught on camera earlier this afternoon. This incident occurred around 14:00, as the person in question ended up hanging from the bridge by their hands. Cars below pulled up to survey the scarcely-believable sight, as both onlookers and law enforcement officials sprung into action.

The carriageways were blockaded by concerned citizens, and as the civilian clung to the bridge for dear life, a cohort of quick-thinking cops were able to pull him back from the brink. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still being investigated, but two separate sources believe that this was an alleged suicide attempt stopped at the last possible moment.
