Africa: Over 5.7 Million Covid-19 Vaccinations Administered Across Continent

As of March 25, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 4,133,971 while over 5,715,151 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached 110,807 and 3,708,871 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases – 1,540,009 – and 52,372 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco ( 492,842 ), Tunisia ( 247,254 ), Egypt ( 197,350 ), Ethiopia ( 192,575 ), and Nigeria ( 162,178 ).
