New MD of TCN, 4 others get appointment letters

Daily Trust reports that the former MD of TCN, Mr Usman Gur Mohammed, was removed from office on May 19, 2020 in a statement from the Minister of Power, Engr. Sale Mamman. The Minister, according to documents, had gotten approval of President Muhammadu Buhari for his actions through correspondence from Buhari’s new Chief of Staff, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari. The Minister had accused the erstwhile TCN head of frustrating the Siemens Presidential Power Initiative (PPI) and other sundry issues.
