Over 6.2 Million Covid-19 Vaccinations Administered Across African Continent

As of March 26, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 4,146,450 while over 6,230,004 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached 111,195 and 3,720,972 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases – 1,541,563 – and 52,535 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco ( 493,353 ), Tunisia ( 248,037 ), Egypt ( 198,011 ), Ethiopia ( 194,524 ), and Nigeria ( 162,275 ).
