Zambia: Uphold Peace, Wina Tells PF Top Brass
Vice President Inonge Wina has challenged the Patriotic Front (PF) top officials to be exemplary in upholding peace as election activities heighten before the August 12, elections.
Ms Wina said this on arrival at the Mongu Airport in Western Province yesterday ahead of starting her four-day working visit.
She said the PF was founded on the basis of peace, unity and development, which could not be lost because of elections.
“I strongly urge you to be peaceful in conducting your personal and political affairs when the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) announces the date for the start of our campaigns” she said.
